My name is Patrick, and I tutor students for preparation of the LSAT exams required to enter law school. I have previous experience in assisting students through the logic games, reading comprehension, and logical reasoning portions of the examination. My teaching philosophy addresses each type of problem individually. As the student becomes familiarized with that concept, we are able to move to the next, finally placing all of the pieces together. I have multiple study strategies that I employed as a student that I share with my students so that they are able to find that perfect balance of studying and home life. I have a well-rounded education and employment history, and know that I will be an effective tutor in assisting you to achieve academic success. I have a bachelor's degree in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin, where I graduated with honors. I was employed as a reporter while I prepared for the LSAT exam, and was able to attend law school at Lewis and Clark Law School in Portland, OR, where I graduated cum laude. In my free time, I enjoy bicycling, surfing, fishing, horticulture, and home-brewing my own ales.
