I received a B.A. majoring in Philosophy and the History of Math and Science with a minor in the Classics and Comparative Literature from St. John's College, Annapolis, MD. I then attended and graduated from Zaytuna College in Berkeley, CA receiving a B.A. in Islamic Law and Theology with a heavy emphasis on Classical Arabic.

Experience

I have been writing and editing college-level essays, news articles, and theses for the last seven and a half years. I have been tutoring Arabic for three years. I was a Formal and Material Logic tutor for a semester. I have also studied grammar, logic, and rhetoric which are very rarely studied nowadays.

Hobbies

Most of my time is spent studying and preparing for graduate school. I'm currently pursuing Arabic studies, Farsi, researching topics for my thesis, and studying philosophy. I have also been researching memory techniques as Islamic Studies requires a lot of memorization of facts. As a means for relaxation I do Kung Fu, yoga, meditation, and play a little bit of basketball.
